Scopitones.com is an excellent source if are interested in learning more about early music video and how they were delivered to the people. The site provides information on not only the Scopitone machines, but it also has examples of early music videos that you could watch on a Scopitone. A Scopitone generally held 35 reals of 60 minute films that could be project onto a screen that was build into the Scopitone. One thing that I found to be interesting after reading the site was that Scopitones were built out of left over airplane parts from WWII. Furthermore, the site contains information about Scopitones that are currently available for sale.
